  Not busy at all, served straight away, nice and clean. Much nicer experience than McDonald's 200m away would have been.

  Today I visited Burger King in Gloucester on one of the hottest days of the year, with temperatures around 33°C. The restaurant was extremely busy, with lots of customers waiting for their food. I waited around 15 minutes for my order, and I could see some people becoming frustrated by the delay. What stood out to me wasn't the wait – it was the incredible effort of the staff. There were around ten people working flat out in what must have been an even hotter kitchen. Every single one of them was working constantly, and you could see how exhausted they were. The young lady who handed me my food was bright red from the heat and apologised for the wait. I told her there was absolutely no need to apologise. It was obvious how hard everyone was working, and they were doing an amazing job under really difficult conditions. When I finally got my meal, it was excellent. It was fresh, hot, well prepared and tasted great. Considering how busy they were, the quality of the food was genuinely impressive. I just wanted to say thank you to the whole team. Despite the extreme heat, the long queues and the pressure, you all kept going and continued serving customers with a smile and a polite attitude. I hope your managers recognise the effort you all put in today because you should be proud of yourselves. Thank you for your hard work. It certainly didn't go unnoticed.
