  Love it and go here intentionally to annoy people who say that the promenade is “too posh” to have a little Tesco on it. Good air conditioning. Aisles very narrow though so have to double back on yourself to get to whatever shelf you want to browse because there’s usually some person doing exactly the same route as yourself. I like the security staff. Actually seem like they’re paying attention. Hopefully will keep the riffraff out.

  The staff here were very helpful and friendly. If you are not familiar with Tesco Expres, this is much better than a convenience store. There is a good assortment of preprepared food that is ready to eat after heating, eggs, nuts and nut butter, dry foods such as cereal and oatmeal, and canned fish and other specialty items. There are plenty of items for special diets too like gluten free. Overall, there is a great assortment especially considering the small space. Finally, the prices are very reasonable.

  So much more in here than The Strand. Tesco. Ok it IS bigger, but it's cheaper too. Fizzy water 30p cheaper. Also clean. Great staff and right next to the bus stop for commuters. About time! Thanks Tesco's.
