    OK, nothing to write home about. Ordering was confusing. Brats running around. My friend said the burger sh had has changed and won't have another. Milkshakes were good. Wasn't given salt. Then no ketchup, had to pay

    ordered off of just eat last night and my order was supposed to come between 5:45pm and 6:05pm. It was marked as delivered at 6:45pm which it wasn’t. I waited an hour expecting my food and received no updates that there was no driver or stock to complete my order. If i would’ve had this then I would feel less annoyed. The next morning I see my order was cancelled but have had no refund or any form of compensation, with the money still being taken out of my account. I’m a young student who doesn’t have the money to throw around and waste on things like this. Never had this with any other McDonald’s but Cirencester.

    I am genuinely mortified by the service I received at McDonald's, particularly from a staff member named Chris, who ironically appears to be a shift manager. I visited with my family and placed an order for five Double Filet-O-Fish meals using the self-service kiosk, as there was no one available taking orders at the counter. That in itself wasn’t an issue — the restaurant was busy, and I understand staff need to focus on kitchen operations and clearing tables during peak times. However, the problem arose when I approached the counter to request extra tartar sauce — a very standard request that I’ve made many times at other branches without any issue. While waiting, I overheard another customer ahead of me ask Chris for extra Big Mac sauce in their burger. Chris was friendly, smiling, and more than happy to accommodate the request after confirming their order number. When it was my turn, I politely asked for extra tartar sauce in my burgers and even offered to pay for it if necessary. Chris immediately refused, stating it was “against company policy.” When I questioned why I was being refused when the previous customer had just been granted a similar request, he had no explanation and simply dismissed me with a blunt “no.” What made the situation worse was the clear difference in attitude — Chris was warm and approachable with the previous customer, yet became noticeably aggressive and dismissive when speaking to me. The inconsistency in service and the change in demeanour were extremely uncomfortable and left me feeling that I had been treated unfairly. To make matters worse, the food took an unreasonably long time to arrive. When I asked how long it would be, I was told it was taking longer because it was being made fresh. However, when we finally received our meals, they were cold — completely contradicting what we had been told. Overall, this was a very disappointing and unpleasant experience from start to finish. Poor service, inconsistent treatment, and substandard food quality are not what I expect. If you’re looking for an unpleasant meal and experience, this is the place to be.
