We came here last month for the first time and had Kat as our server she was amazing she was happy, bubbly and chatty. She informed us of all the offers available and what dishes are vegetarian/accommodating to requirements and she was really friendly and took the time to make sure our visit went smoothly. We returned again tonight 15th of august and she was amazing yet again, their was a small accident with spillage of cola and she handle it very well and we didnt mind atall accidents happen. I just wanted to put on here and hope shes sees this to let her know it wasnt a bother atall and she should be proud of the work she does as she is the reason we returned to eat in this restaurant ( she needs a pay rise ) aswell as how good the food is. The food is absoultely delicious and always great selection, warm and fresh cannot fault anything. We look forward to returning again.

I was in princes square zizzis for dinner and was served by cat who was lovely and made sure to let us know what we would and might not enjoy based on our preferences. Very professional and extremely knowledgable. Thank you for yet another lovely family night out.

A very disappointing experience from beginning to end. The man greeting customers was rude from the moment we arrived. When my wife asked whether inside or outside would be quieter for our baby, he replied, “Inside only has two tables, so obviously inside.” While I was transferring the baby from the pram into a high chair, he then effectively told me to get out of the way. Before ordering, we specifically checked that our gift card could be used alongside a children-eat-free voucher and were told it could. Despite this, both were applied incorrectly when we came to pay, requiring the bill to be corrected twice. The food did little to improve matters. The £9 fried aubergine starter was flavourless. The meatballs were better, but unexpectedly too spicy to share with children, which was not clear from the menu. The main courses were worse. My £19.75 chilli king-prawn pasta had no chilli heat and was described as having a bisque, but tasted like a basic tomato arrabbiata-style sauce. The prawns themselves were nice, but the dish was nowhere near worth the price. The children’s Bolognese was watery, poorly presented and had minimal meat or richness. The pesto and salmon risotto was bland, with a dry piece of salmon placed on top. The desserts were fine, although they tasted like bought-in products rather than anything prepared in the restaurant. When my wife asked for the automatic 7.5% service charge to be removed, the waitress became visibly grumpy and did not thank us as we left. When I explained that my pasta sauce was not what I would consider a bisque, she argued that it was a “tomato bisque” and that bisque does not require cream. Regardless of the technical definition, what was served bore little resemblance to the rich sauce described on the menu. Poor service, mediocre-to-bad food, inflated prices and a needlessly unpleasant ending. We will not return.

Catherine was an excellent waitress and gave us great advice about the food. She was exceptionally careful about allergies as one of our party is allergic to peanuts and shellfish! The food was excellent and Lomond was also a very good waiter!! We had a great time! Thank you! X

The food was great, but unfortunately the customer service did not match the quality of the meal. One of the female employees told me she was busy and couldn’t help us get seated. Another staff member saw us waiting for at least 15 minutes and did nothing. in fact, she completely ignored us. I do want to thank the older Italian gentleman who was very kind. He seated us, took our order, and made us feel welcome. The food was enjoyable, but the customer service definitely needs improvement.
