  We've visited this TGI's a lot over the years. My daughter loves it. The last twice we've been, there have been issues with long wait times for food and really poor customer service. The food quality has definitely gone down, too. I didn't put a negative review last time, giving the benefit of the doubt, hoping it was just a one off. Yesterday, we visited as a group of 7. We ordered 6 starters and mains, drinks and a kids meal. We got drinks pretty quickly, but waited a long time for the starters. The wait for mains was absolutely ridiculous and we asked for updates twice. Eventually our server told us they were "next on the grill". This had been more than an hour of waiting at this point and seeing tables seated after us getting food. We said to just bring us the bill for what we had. Then a guy came out (assuming he was a manager) and said the food would only be 5 more minutes. We said we would wait, as it would take longer to go elsewhere. The food was hot, but not the quality that we have previously enjoyed there. My mum had ribs and said they tasted like they weren't cooked through. She has been ill today. The girl who was serving us was good and made my little girl a balloon model of a water gun to cheer her up after waiting so long, but the guy had an attitude of, "It is what it is" and offered no apologies. After waiting so long and having had a really sub par experience, we weren't offered as much as a small discount on the bill. It's definitely the last time we'll visit.

  Food was excellent and our server, Vicky, was absolutely phenomenal! She even made our son a balloon animal which he was absolutely delighted with! Thanks again Vicky x

  This used to be our go to place after the cinema, always loved it. After last night though, we’ve had enough and won’t be back. Our server Vicky was lovely. Can't fault the service at all. I’m sick to death however of this place serving cold food. I didn’t realise the menu had recently changed and they no longer do a vegetarian/vegan burger. They were actually able to accommodate me with one as they still had the ingredients which I really appreciated. I can’t fathom why you would remove this from a menu that is already serious limited in vegetarian options. There’s more pasta options but I wouldn’t dare get one. I’ve had pasta here before and it’s bone dry, every time. I asked to upgrade my fries to the garlic fries. My vegetarian burger came out with regular fries and then the garlic fries were brought out in a separate bowl for some odd reason. My burger and my husband’s cheese burger were over cooked, dry and cold. The garlic fries were also cold. We didn’t send them back as we didn’t want yet another long wait. I asked for a side of the burger mayo which they’ve also stopped doing! Why? That stuff was amazing. I got a side of the honey mustard mayo instead but they’ve managed to ruin that as well. Tastes of nothing. It’s not even the same colour it used to be. Clearly no effort but the bare minimum goes on in the kitchen. They don’t care. Why else would you think it’s okay to send out cold, over cooked food. This place is running itself into the ground and I don’t think it will be long before they are in trouble again. It’s sad, we once loved it here but I’m fed up giving them another chance just to be let down again by poor food. We’ll be giving Pizza Express or Frankie & Benny’s another try from now on.
