  Just witnes 2 robberies, the staff just look at me n walk away on both occasions, this store as dramatically gone downhill

  Management at fault I think. Understand that working in a difficult inner city location has it's issues but staff treat customers very badly. Have left feeling mistreated on a few occasions. Almost seems combative.

  --- Humiliating and Unacceptable Treatment ---- I had a terrible experience at this Tesco today (30 Jan 2026) around 6 pm. After buying two wraps, I paid at the self-checkout and was leaving the shop when a security guard (not local) stopped me and asked, “Did you pay for that?” I said "yes". He then looked at the machine and said nothing, not even an apology. If I hadn’t paid, why would I be leaving the shop? There was no reason for him to assume I hadn’t paid or to ask such a question. There was no alarm, no beep, and nothing to suggest I had done anything wrong. I was clearly judged based on my appearance and treated like a thief. This was humiliating and completely unacceptable. Tesco SHOULD train their staff and security better. Customers deserve to be treated with respect, not suspicion. This experience was disgusting, and I will never visit this Tesco again.
