The staff is very helpful and nice. The store has everything you need to do more than just quick shopping. Highly recommend this store.

Does what it's supposed to do. That's a good thing.

Went there yesterday morning when a foreign woman (French or Spanish) was shopping as well. She was packing her shopping into her own bags (as it is normal in most countries but the UK). “Karen-Security” (not the guard but the store employee) walks over and starts the conversation with “What are you doing!!!? This is literally stealing!”. The woman was visibly confused and flabbergasted by the confrontation and replied in broken English. I understand that the UK is a high-theft country but can we please have some cultural understanding and decency!? A simple “Excuse me, can I help you?” and an explanation of the rules would have led a long way - instead racial and cultural profiling and an embarrassed customer. Even when she then repacked it into a basket the store employee was not even 2 feet away from her … Tesco you can do way better than that. “Everyone’s welcome at Tesco.” - guess not this time!
