It’s impossible to sit and enjoy a coffee peacefully because the radio is playing so loudly that you can barely hear yourself think. The staff have to shout to each other because they can’t hear one another over the music. Please turn the radio down — it would make the atmosphere much more pleasant for customers and staff alike.

The windowsills have a huge build up of dirt. If that’s the customer facing side I don’t want to know what the back of the shop looks like.

Both ladies were so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful from the moment we came in. They went above and beyond with their customer service, serving everyone with a smile and making the atmosphere feel warm and cheerful even when it was busy. It’s rare to come across staff who are so kind, patient, and hardworking, and they both deserve recognition for the fantastic job they do. Honestly, other staff could learn a lot from them — Marlene and Leanne should be training others on customer service because they set such a high standard. They are a real credit to Greggs and made out visit much more enjoyable. Thank you again Marlene and Leanne — we will definitely be back!

We’ve been donating unsold food for a long time. Originally our bakeries would team up with large charities who would help distribute it to smaller organisations.
This process remains in place, though we’ve also worked hard to increase the amount of unsold food donated by our shops and we currently support a network of 1,077 local good causes.
In 2022, we redistributed 1,800 tonnes of unsold food through our Outlet shops. A share of the profits from the outlets, totalling £450,000, was then donated back into the communities we serve.
