- MNMay NapierJul 9, 20261.0I was left standing at the counter for what felt like ages while two young male assistants stood chatting to each other and completely ignored me. It wasn’t until an older lady, who was busy unloading a tray, turned around and said to them, “Would one of you like to serve this lady?” that I was finally acknowledged. It was disappointing to experience such poor customer service. The older member of staff was the only person who appeared to notice or care that a customer was waiting. I hope staff receive better training on customer awareness and prioritising customers over conversations. Do better Greggs Anniesland Rd! 😡

Today I got a roll with bacon, bacon was NOT fresh, wasn't cooked that day for sure, and the cappuccino I got today had the flavour of the not cleaned coffee machine. Usually I'm fine with the cold bakes but today's quality was nowhere to be found. The older lady behind the till today was a bit cranky too, I will blame it too "Monday morning" as usual staff is extremely friendly.

We’ve been donating unsold food for a long time. Originally our bakeries would team up with large charities who would help distribute it to smaller organisations.
This process remains in place, though we’ve also worked hard to increase the amount of unsold food donated by our shops and we currently support a network of 1,077 local good causes.
In 2022, we redistributed 1,800 tonnes of unsold food through our Outlet shops. A share of the profits from the outlets, totalling £450,000, was then donated back into the communities we serve.
