  My family and I just love the Wild Carrot. Having celebrated many family birthdays, social trips and even work events over the years. It’s superb for families with young children, welcoming them with open arms and making sure their experience is just as special. The quality of the food is impeccable, with a special mention to their lobster linguine. On our latest visit, there was a sensitive incident with one of my family members and the staff went above and beyond to accomodate us all. Their compassion and care within their service is why we’ll keep coming back and recommending them to others.

  I recently celebrated my birthday at the Wild Carrot restaurant at the Four Seasons, Hampshire. Wild Carrot is in the rear of the ground floor of the hotel in a light room with lots of greenery overlooking the extensive grounds. As you would expect, the service was impeccable being both friendly and unobtrusive. I am a coeliac and my wife is vegetarian so we can be difficult to cater for, yet the Wild Carrot gave us both a wide choice of dishes to choose from. We shared a bottle of sparkling water. I had a faux expresso martini and my wife had a long island iced tea. I chose to start with the parsley soup, whilst my wife had the beetroot and goat’s cheese. All were excellent, although I found the expresso martini rather sweet. I had a wide variety of gluten free mains to choose from, and selected the braised Cornish lamb shoulder. This looked amazing and almost tasted as good. The combination of flavours was excellent and the scallions were amazing but I think the decision to shred the meat to create a terrine did not allow the flavour of the lamb to fully come through. My wife had a smaller selection of mains to choose from and went for the roasted hispi cabbage which was outstanding. We both had sides. Mine was sautéed spinach, and my wife had French fries and both were excellent. For dessert I had a scoop of mango sorbet, with a scoop of chocolate ice cream and my wife had the hazelnut choux. The ice cream was again excellent. The hazelnut cluster was a work of art and my wife described it as “out of this world”. We finished with a glass of Wild Idol each, an non-alcoholic wine that was new to me but that I shall now seek out. This was easily the best birthday meal I have ever had.

  Roland is incredibly generous with his smile, his service, and the genuine care he shows every guest. He goes above and beyond every time, making every visit a great experience. He is one of the main reasons I keep coming back to Four Seasons for lunch or dinner. I truly admire his professionalism, kindness, and dedication. Thank you, Roland! Please pass him a great appreciation and recognize him.

  The food was delicious. We shared the burrata and Parmesan truffle fries, I had the salmon and my husband had the chicken biryani. We had the hazelnut choux and lemon tart for dessert. The service was amazing. I would like to thank Leo for his hospitality.

  We enjoyed a lovely meal for my sister’s birthday during our weekend stay at FS Hampshire. Opted for the South-Asian menu at the restaurant which included chicken biryani, butter chicken & salads/naan bread. Mocktails were delicious & all the staff were incredible! Faultless service all around 🫒🌷
