- JMJosephine MillikenFeb 20, 20261.0My son and I went for lunch today, I got a steak bake but I was given one that had obviously been sitting for a long time , pastry hard on it, it was dried up and far smaller than the other ones , so I said to the man I don't want that one I want one of the fresh ones , he literally throws the hard steak bake back and says to me I can't see the one you want but he could see the hard one well enough, when I finally got my steak bake it was lovely, but I did not like the male member of staff's attitude who was serving around 2pm on the 20th of February not very nice in front of customers if you wanted rid of your dried up steak bake go eat it yourself but don't try to pass it of to a customer we want proper food we are paying for it after all.

We’ve been donating unsold food for a long time. Originally our bakeries would team up with large charities who would help distribute it to smaller organisations.
This process remains in place, though we’ve also worked hard to increase the amount of unsold food donated by our shops and we currently support a network of 1,077 local good causes.
In 2022, we redistributed 1,800 tonnes of unsold food through our Outlet shops. A share of the profits from the outlets, totalling £450,000, was then donated back into the communities we serve.
