Just went into this cafe to *try* to get a drink, the wait was long, but that’s not the cafe staffs fault. The reason I am writing this review is because I saw completely unacceptable behaviour shown by who I believe to be the manager. This lady was INCREDIBLY rude to a customer because they were in the cafe and had not purchased anything yet, but were eating their own food. I understand that if you are sitting in a cafe, you should purchase something, but there is absolutely a polite way to tell someone this. The manager was incredibly condescending towards them and very patronising, and almost aggressive for absolutely no reason. The customer was of a different race to the lady, and I sincerely hope that she was not behaving this way due to that. Absolutely disgusting. I had already waited over 15 minutes to be served by this point, and I did not want to spend my money where staff think it’s acceptable to treat customers like this. Will not go back here again. So disappointing.

After a little shop I was feeling a little hungry and went for a cup of tea and a bacon and egg on toast, the tea was nice but the bacon was inedible, looked like it was cooked in a microwave with loads of white bits all over the bacon, I couldn't eat this and told the waitress it was inedible she just took it away, didn't offer a replacement or my money back, certainly won't be using that cafe again.

Good shop, good variety of products. Can be quite pricey compared to other local supermarkets
