  Visited this Spar store today (Monday July 3rd 2023) at 12.10pm. I thought I'd pop in for a Rollover Hot Dog 🌭. Now outside the store they had cardboard promotional advertising for Rollover Hotdogs so you'd think my chances of getting one would be good. I get into the store to find the Rollover Hotdog hotplate empty. I mean this is at peak lunch time trade. Aside from the poor checkout worker who has no option but to deal with the queues of people who are waiting to be served. The same can't be said for her colleagues who are wandering about trying to look busy without actually doing anything. I've noticed that when the older male gentlemen, I think he's a supervisor or manager is on, that the store is run superbly (He knows what he's doing). When he's not on duty it's an absolute shambles. Imagine over advertising a product as you come in, in this case Rollover Hotdogs only to then have none available is laughable at lunchtime (Rollover must be proud to have this store selling their products). Credit to the one lady in the shop stuck on the checkout who was dealing with your customers. The rest of your staff on duty that morning need retraining or sacked. I can bet if the area manager, owner of the store or even a rep from Rollover Hotdog was paying a visit into the store, it's be all hands on deck to pretend that the store is well run with all products available & certainly the Rollover Hotdog hotplate would be full with hotdogs. My experience today suggests whoever was left in charge of the running & operation of the store on this occasion is unfortunately incable of doing their job to a satisfactory standard.

  Better that most of the Spars I've been to. Always tidy and stocked. Only negative is that their hot food goes quickly due to it being so close to the college.

  Great SPAR store. Excellent choice, superb deals and a great fresh deli with tasty breakfast , lunch and dinner solutions.
