  Booked to go for a carvery...turned up to a notice on the door that there wasn't a carvery that Sunday.

  Well, where do I start It’s mid week in July 2026 Single person traveling from with work. Staying over night locally. Let’s pop into the Brewers Fayre. Bad mistake. Pay for parking, then told you can not eat unless you are staying at premier inn next door as they are shutting for a refurbishment in September!! What the hell, really, no food in July as you are having a refurbishment in September, so long story short l, no food!! As a result the place was very, very quiet.

  Waste of time don't go here. Only open to hotel guests but the restaurant is almost empty. Just wasted my time walking here and back.

  Meal was not good steak was cold and place was not busy but we waited 35 minutes for food and when it came it was cold.Only chips were warm.Staff were quite rude and not helpful.As it is closing down no one seemed interested. Don't think we would go back.Service appalling
