When I am at the register, the staff are always talking on their little headset to other staff members and are not engaged at all with me or any other customer. On my most recent visit, the staff member who was scanning my items was talking to one of the other staff through her headset as usual and the only words she spoke to me were "would you like a bag". That was all she said. Not even "hello" or "have a nice day". Just "would you like a bag". It is incredibly rude to all customers and it happens every time I go.
- SSSlmOct 23, 20231.0Needs some attention from head office. Staff interaction with customer is poor putting it mildly. Didn't say hello, was too busy talking to other member of staff whilst serving. Didn't offer receipt just said "bye thanks" Sometimes staff interacting with each other on headsets whilst serving customers highly inappropriate for a customer centered service. To put it bluntly staff look like they can't be arsed at all. Obviously this is subject to different times of the day but a smile and a hello whilst getting served goes a long way. Understandable life is tough at the moment but when you see a consistent day to day interaction with the same outcome you know there is something going wrong with the store from management level or level of training provided towards staff. On the plus side, store was well stocked, clean and tidy, able to purchase what was needed.
