  This Tesco store has unfortunately gone downhill over the last year. On most visits, the shop floor appears untidy, with delivery cages left around the store waiting to be worked. Despite the number of cages waiting to be unpacked, the shelves are often poorly stocked, making it difficult to find basic items. I've also found the store closed on occasions when it was supposed to be open, which is frustrating when you've made a special trip. The overall cleanliness of the store leaves a lot to be desired. There was a period around six or seven months ago when standards seemed to improve noticeably, and the store looked cleaner and better organised. Unfortunately, that improvement didn't last, and standards appear to have declined again. The staff are always polite and friendly, and I genuinely feel sorry for them. They often appear rushed and exhausted, and I've overheard staff discussing how tired they are. It gives the impression that they are working hard but are stretched too thin. The issues I see do not seem to be caused by the frontline staff, who remain helpful despite the circumstances. Another recurring problem is the smell after the floors have been mopped. On several occasions there has been a strong stale mop odour throughout the store. This isn't something I've noticed once or twice – it seems to be a regular occurrence and does not create a pleasant shopping environment. The store used to be much better, but over the past year it has felt increasingly poorly run and lacking the standards customers should expect. If there were another convenient supermarket nearby, I would happily shop elsewhere. In fact, I now tend to buy extra during my larger shopping trips just so I don't have to visit this store as often. It's disappointing because this used to be a good local Tesco, and I would like to see it return to the standard it once maintained.

  the chocolate cookies are brilliant, the walk back home is 15 minutes so I always come back empty handed for some reason. Anyways, good ol Tesco!

  Utter bin of a shop - been in there numerous times cardboard on the floor, stuff everywhere, nothing on shelfs also one of the team stinks of BO! Which makes a change from the stagnant smell which is usually present
