  If I could be really picky the price is so high for the little you get not denying the food was fresh and hot my 90 year old grandad loves it but he normally goes to the cheap one up the rd but I guess quality over quantity.

  Unusual of me to put in a ome star review but I do believe this is deserved. Having ordered from this place before, no pun intended, I was really looking forward to their nice sausage and chips. It is nice food, dont get me wrong, but I will explain why my score is so low. Me and my partner ordered cod, sausage and some chips for delivery with a priority delivery on Deliveroo on a Saturday evening. We ordered at just after 9 o'clock and the place was still showing as taking orders. As we are not in Witham it does take a little bit to get to us, but they stay open a little later than our local and its nice. After an hour of waiting I'm checking the app and it says that order has been updated several times for the time of delivery and they are still preparing our order. A few mins later, just after 22:00 our order was cancelled! So not only did the chippy not complete our order within their "opening hours", but also left us hanging for so long we couldn't get food anywhere else! Its really poor service and i will not be ordering from there anytime soon...

  Probably the worst I have ever had swimming in oil in a cardboard box ordered medium cod and large chips even though fish was of medium size i got 31 chips came to £14

  Food is okay, but the portions are so small for the money. Got given a portion of chips for £3.60 which was one scoop of chips 😂 save your money and go to Tommy Tuckers 👍
