Loverly pub with oak beams. Plenty of parking. Helpful staff. Five of us had Sunday lunch, all very good. Portions were generous and service was quick. Value for money.

Stopped in because it was nearby and near the bus stop. Was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and food! Smelled like lemons when we walked in to complement the lemon themed decor. Friendly staff. Very clean, some of the cleanest restrooms I've visited in a while. Fish and chips were the best I've had during my travels in the UK. Lunch menu is a great deal, 14.5 for meal and drink.

Used to be regulars, but stopped going sometime back, thought we would go back to see how it's changed. Wife and I both ordered Roast Beef extra gravy and a drink each. Beef was tough, Roast potatoes were a child's portion, cabbage was inedible, single carrot was barely cooked , soggy parsnip with no flavour, gravy was nice, think chef came up and delivered requested mustard, looked miserable as hell. Bill came as we couldn't get out fast enough they wanted 5 pounds for extra gravy which I refused to pay, they tried to assure us that it is the industry norm, I assured them it wasn't. Pub should be renamed the Titanic as it can't survive serving this quality of food.

Being greeted with a warm hello as we walked in the door was nice. Had a quick lunch. Attentive and friendly service. Flat Iron Chicken was excellent.
