  I stopped for a quick bite before going for a flight from Stansted. Lovely food, as expected from BK. Really clean place and most importantly, very quick out the kitchen! Might be my new routine, especially considering anything beats airport prices for food.

  We ordered our food on the self service machines and the menu is clear and easy to navigate. We didn’t have to wait long for our food, and when it came it was good, we ordered the Angus steak burgers with chips and onion rings. My only comment is that the chips weren’t very hot. My son wanted the churros but couldn’t find them on the self service menu so we asked a member of staff and she put through the order for us. The staff were friendly and polite. The restaurant is clean and tidy and during the the hour we were there staff were regularly checking it was clean, clearing tables and emptying bins.

  On my travels today, I spotted this Burger King on the way back and decided to make a quick pit stop. The branch has a drive-thru and collection points, but I decided to dine in and give the place a proper look. A friend recently recommended the Plant-Based Whopper to me. Now, before anyone says anything… yes, I know it’s plant-based 😂 But honestly, this was a genuinely good burger! I went for no tomatoes or pickles, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much of that proper grilled, smoky Whopper flavour came through. For something made from plants, it certainly didn’t taste like it was picked from the garden five minutes ago! The burger was a good size, and the chips were also really good — hot, fresh and nicely cooked when they arrived. The branch itself was very clean and has a modern, refreshed look that I really liked. There are self-ordering points, a dedicated drinks area and the toilets were relatively clean and well maintained. Service was good overall, with friendly and welcoming staff. Nothing overly complicated — order your food, find a seat, eat, and get back on the road. I’d definitely say this is worth stopping at if you're travelling around the airport or passing through the area. There's something about coming back from holiday, being absolutely shattered and thinking, “I just need a Burger King before I go home” — and this place definitely delivered. Overall, a very enjoyable stop and a surprisingly good Plant-Based Whopper. Would happily visit again.

  Had a hamburger to take away and it was awful, it was just a piece of meat that tasted like nothing and there was no ketchup, mayo or anything else in that burger. Awful! £7 for a bland burger and a still water - rip off!

  Easily the friendliest staff I've met at a Burger King, Krishna (the attendant) made us feel like we were in a family restaurant instead of a fast food chain. I'll be judging other Burger Kings by his standard from now on!
