Brilliant food and even better service! The staff are so friendly, gave us recommendations and recommended some of their new menu items (the gochujang salmon rice bowl is amazing!). Fast service, fast and fresh food and great atmosphere, 10/10

Myself, my husband and son visit Wagamama lakeside on a regular basis. We are always greeted by Teyo who is a lovely polite young gentleman. His customer service is one of the reasons why we keep coming back. He always puts a smile on our face and he is a credit to the Wagamama lakeside team.

Went there the other day, we got seating no problem despite it being payday weekend. Our server was amazing, looking after us the entire time, making conversation and giving some suggestions. Both our meals were filling enough, we also got bao buns to go with it, cant go wrong with those! Little bit on the pricey side these days but in line or slightly cheaper than other chains.
We visited on a Saturday evening, reservation for 18:00pm, table of 8.
Food-wise, Wagamama delivered. The dishes we received were tasty, well-prepared, and enjoyable. Unfortunately, the service was so poor that it completely overshadowed the meal and means we won't be returning.
From the moment we sat down, service was chaotic and frustrating. One member of our party waited over 40 minutes for their first drink while everyone else had already received theirs. Throughout the evening, we constantly had to chase staff for basic things such as refills, cutlery, and general assistance. The birthday boy at our table waited around 20 minutes just for a drink refill.
Ordering was equally painful. It took over 30 minutes to place our order because one guest is lactose intolerant. Our server told us they couldn't process the order and that a manager had to do it. When the manager arrived, they said it didn't need to be entered as an allergen request after all and sent the original server back to us. Why the manager couldn't have simply taken the order themselves remains a mystery and added unnecessary delays.
The Wagamama policy of food arriving as it's ready rather than together only seemed to create further confusion. Multiple times staff approached our table with dishes that weren't ours, and the disjointed service made the whole experience feel disorganised.
To make matters worse, one of our desserts never arrived, yet it still appeared on the bill and we had to point it out before payment.
The restaurant was incredibly busy and extremely loud. Conversation was difficult, and we often had to raise our voices just to hear the person sitting next to us.
In total, the experience lasted over two and a half hours for mains, dessert and paying the bill. While the food itself was good, the shockingly poor service, constant delays, and lack of organisation completely ruined what should have been an enjoyable meal. Sadly, the service was bad enough that we won't be returning. Such a shame.
