  Was seated and order taken quickly which was nice. Then waited 30 mins for food to arrive, only mine did not come out. Waited 5 mins then asked a member of staff where my pasta was. It then came. After finishing eating waited ages to be noticed to get the bill. Most of the tables are empty, theres barely any customers here but everything is extremely slow. The food wasnt bad but the cajun prawn pasta wasnt great at all. Service needs to quicken up, spent most of the visit sitting around waiting.

  Prebooked for 11 people, waited and had to ask several times for a table while at an empty bar, no permanent staff available behind bar. Appeared short staffed. Food took an age to come out, 2 people waited even more for their order from our group. Disappointing food, salad was watery. Steak was like an old boot. Expensive for what they serve up. Never go back again despite the generous discount off bill and free drinks from manager. Plus u are charged 10% to be served if a party over 10. So we also had to pay 25.00 for privilage of being served by them. No thanks.

  First time at TGI Fridays in the UK and what a disappointment that was. First off they added on extra charges for something we didnt order! What the hell is Everyday Trio*?! That was £12.49. We never ordered this!! All of our items we ordered should of come to £64.53 but this additional charge brought up the cost to £77.02 for two people two mains a starter and a side a bottle of beer and two coke zero. To think we had a bad experience with the cleanliness of the place now this additional charge. The table was dirty and sticky we had to get wipes from the car to clean it ourself! The cutlery has water stains on it and the floor felt like you was standing in a dance club sticky and slippery. We ordered the Friday's Sesame Chicken Strips for starters, they was more like chicken bites not strips but bar that was probably the best thing we had at the meal. Mains was Fridays Glazed Burger and fries, the salad in the burger looked old some brown bits and it was soggy i immediately took it out. The burger meat was dry and not enjoyable. They put a small hand full of fries on the plate. The plate was hot to touch but all food was cold. Im sorry but for £18.99 I would expect more of a meal than this. My partners meal was the same Original American burger small hand full fries and old soggy salad. £15.99 Garlic Ciabatta Bread with cheese again dry and caked in oil. £4.99 BBQ sauce which we had to pay extra for tasted like HP Smoky BBQ sauce. £1.29 All in all what a disappointment after a long day walking around lakeside shopping center we thought it would be nice to get a sit down meal as we were both hungry and tired but we will never be going there again. We will not be recommending you due to these issues we experienced at this restaurant. I would like to be reimbursed for the item ( Everyday Trio* ) which we didn't order.

  Really disappointing experience at TGI Fridays Lakeside. We waited around an hour for our food, and after such a long wait you'd at least expect it to arrive hot, but unfortunately the chips were cold and overall the food just wasn't worth the wait or the price. I don't normally complain, but when the bill came to around £44, I felt I had to say something. To their credit, they listened to my complaint and knocked roughly £10 off the bill, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, though, when you're eating out and paying these sorts of prices, you expect decent food and service. Waiting an hour to then be served cold food just isn't good enough. Sadly, I wouldn't rush back.

  Had dinner everything was just ok, food,atmosphere but the service wasn’t great. The lady serving us was not paying attention, the dessert came incomplete though I clearly ask if it comes with ice cream and she said yes. We are in the middle of heatwave and all we need is something cold and refreshing after the meal, dessert came with NO ice cream in it just a warm brownie, we waited for her to come back in our area, asked for the ice cream, she apologised and another server came with 4 scoops of melted ice cream, it was not nice anymore. We asked for our bill and paid by card, I was surprised as the bill came out higher than the initial receipt given, I clarified and was told 10% service fee is already added! I am always generous with tip but that service doesn’t deserve for a 10% service charge, I was about to give only 5% but was already obliged for 10%. I won’t come back to this place and won’t recommend.
