  I have ordered many times from Papa Johns. However today had left me very disappointed and I will be making a formal complaint. I’ve placed an order at 16:30 and the delivery window kept changing with delays for more than 1.5 hours. So, I decided to call the store at Southend on sea and I have never ever encountered something like that. The person on the phone told me by shouting at me to call Just eat and get a driver as the driver didn’t come. He told me I ordered via Just Eat so it’s my fault as to why I ordered online. I said I only called to check on the order. I asked to speak to someone else at the shop and asked for the person’s name, he told me he cannot give me his name and that the manager is not there. He carried on shouting at me telling me to send a driver! I am a customer and paid for the order. I can’t even get a refund as they’ve already started the order. This happened on the 8th of September 2026 at 16:30 pm. Will never ever buy from this place again. I cannot believe someone can speak to you like that.

  Lynus the manager was extremely unhelpful and very arrogant. I made an honest mistake when ordering online in the car, I came a minute later and asked to change it to normal cheese and tomato pizza for my children and he was extremely unhelpful and unkind. The rest of the staff were lovely and understanding. Won’t be back here due to the service.

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent experience at Papa John's Southend! My customized pizza was made perfectly, exactly as I requested. The ingredients were fresh, the pizza was hot, and the taste was amazing. A special thank you to Manager Mr. Shakeeb for his excellent customer service, professionalism, and attention to detail. He made sure everything was perfect and provided a great experience. Highly recommended, and I will definitely be ordering again!
