The Bellhouse

The Bellhouse started life as a 16th-century hunting lodge, set beside a brook and surrounded by woodland near Leigh-on-Sea. It's built around British steak burgers and pub classics, served in a dining room with wooden beams and open fires, plus a large patio for warmer days. Hadleigh Castle and Southend Pier are both a short drive away, and the pub suits both a special occasion and a casual dinner.
