  I went there to buy a pizza because my pregnant wife had been craving one. I travelled around 20 minutes to get there, but when I arrived, there was no one in the shop. I waited for about five minutes, and when nobody came out, I had to call out for someone. Eventually, a staff member appeared looking sleepy and uninterested. I ordered a pizza and handed him a £20 note. He immediately said it didn’t look genuine but couldn’t explain why when I asked. I then offered another £20 note, but he refused that as well and told me I had to pay with either a £10 or £50 note. Since I didn’t have a £10 note, I gave him a £50 note, but he refused that too. The explanations kept changing. First, he claimed the £20 notes didn’t look legitimate, then he said they don’t accept £20 notes, and finally he said they don’t accept cash at all and that I had to pay by card. As a shopkeeper myself, I found this very unprofessional and confusing. It honestly felt like he simply didn’t want to make the pizza and was making excuses, especially as he seemed tired and uninterested. To make matters worse, the shop itself looked dirty and poorly maintained. I genuinely don’t understand how this place has so many positive reviews. Based on my experience, it was definitely not worth the journey, and I won’t be returning
