  So I went into Tesco with my girlfriend. We bought some biscuits and my girlfriend who is of age and held a valid ID wanted to buy some wine. We approached the checkout to A grumpy, rude and obnoxious staff assistant who was female And probably about Middle Aged. She refused sale even though I was not the one purchasing the alcohol never mind I am 23. I do not always carry my ID and I should not need to to accompany my girlfriend if she is buying some alcohol one out of 10 service

  staff here are incredibly rude. if I ever see a particular member of staff out of the store on a day off (I live a few mins away from this shop so we’ve crossed paths) she’ll glare at me like I’m stalking her or following her around when I smile politely. I literally come into the store with my boyfriend, don’t flatter yourself. Why would I be interested in someone who looks like a goblin anyway

  After finishing my shopping i needed to buy a bag at self service. Only seemed to be two staff in so i asked one of them, both were at the back of the store (nobody on the tills). The staff member huffed and puffed like i was a disturbance to her day and walked straight to the back again. I had paracetamol so when done this needed authorising. My word, it was like i have asked her to tap dance down the high street naked!! Moaning, huffing etc. I said 'thank you' and received, in a raised voice, 'you're very welcome'. This store need to up their game as M&S and Morrisons were very busy and I was the only one in Tesco. The staff in London Road Tesco are always lovely and very helpful
