  We stayed the night at the primer inn next door with the kids and we had dinner and breakfast at the beefeater. The staff really made the effort to make us feel welcome and the food was well cooked. Good value for money seeing as we need a place to stay whilst visiting Colchester Zoo. Thank you Benjamin

  Slow service even though empty, turned the pump beer off for some reason. Several things missing from the menu.
