  I have been keeping this in for 4 years but in 2022 October, an elderly lady (blonde) was the cashier. She declined letting me use my colleague clubcard. My mother works for Tesco's at a different store, and in the policy, they do allow a secondary colleague clubcard, so she gave it to me. This was my first time using this store as I had just moved from London to attend university. She was incredibly rude and at the time I was young and did not stand up for myself. My friend offered her clubcard but the lady said she wasn't allowed to. I had to pay everything in full price. I called my mother later on and she told me I should have told her earlier. It was quite an upsetting experience. Before me, the lady was also quite rude to another student who had tried to count some coins (seems like he was an international student). The cashier hurried him and threw him his change back. I'm not sure if she was racist or having a bad day, but this behaviour was very unprofessional especially for a lady who is much older. I'm not sure if she's still working there but the theme does tend to be much older colleagues being rude to students. The younger ones have been nice to me. I hope the behaviour of staff will be better for the next generation of students who will be moving and attending this Tesco's for the first time. It's a shame for a 18 year old to have experienced that type of behaviour from someone in her ≈50s.

  last few times i've been to this store, ive gone in and used the bathroom before walking around. today, i went into the bathroom and oh my god the smell was absolutely disgusting, i couldn't be in there for more than a few seconds, was gagging so much i thought i was about to throw up. i'm not sure how regularly they get cleaned but it definitely isn't enough, there was piss all over the floor, toilet roll everywhere. i understand it's not the workers faults that some customers don't seem to have the decency to clean up the mess they've made but seriously them toilets need cleaning and checking more regularly.

  The worst strawberries ever! Bitter, not all ripe and the ones at the bottom of the pack were so bruised that they were inedible. Every other supermarket has fabulous ones this year. Also the potatoes in their packs of 4 baking potatoes cannot be seen through the plastic! I bought a pack and all bruised and on the edge. Never shopping here again as their produce can’t be trusted.
