  I don't normally complain. Have been here before and food has been hot but then only chips and drink ordered. We all had breakfasts and every single one unfortunately was cold. Cold mushrooms really aren't very tasty at all but we waited about 25 mins and we were all hungry. Black pudding was asked for extra and there was nothing to it it was so over cooked. Such a shame as it was my birthday breakfast. Will stick to the drinks and chips next time.

  SHOCKING experience. Paid just under £11 for breakfast and cup of tea. Tables all dirty, had to wipe myself, then a customer told other customers, they never wipe tables here. Attitude from female staff was disgusting...she said the dish washer doesnt get tea or lipstick stains off cups.... was given 2 cups, both dirty by this time. 3 customers watched her hand wash with soap then dry with blue roll, didnt rinse in water. Then gossiping with another staff looking over at me, staff member then came over to my table, argueing with me in a full cafe, 2 children at the side if me, about me complaining about a clean cup ? Food took a while to come out the kitchen as chef was busy , by the time it did, my Tea was cold...The poached egg was HARD. When a customer states 2 x cups where not clean... Don't waste your money! Then denied a refund by Conner who said he was the Manager ? His lazy Attitude and eye rolling also stinks. I did eventually get a full refund BTW. I won't be returning.

  What a lovey experience me and my friend went in with our babies. We started breastfeeding one of the cafe helpers 30 seconds later ran over with cold water for us .. such a lovey thing as it really makes you thirsty and it was a hot day. Lovey lady with sliver hair and think I could see a back tattoo I think on the top of her top. This lady was not just lovey with us you could tell she loves her job and enjoyed helping all customers

  My first and sadly to my last time to this cafe. Food took ages to arrive (about 30 minutes) and was terrible, wish I’d taken photos. My husband ordered the baked potato with tuna and side salad. It looked like some had been sick on the plate and the side salad was completely wilted as if it had been sat under a hot plate for ages. He couldn’t eat it just looking at it put him off. My fishfinger sandwich looked like it had just been thrown together. Cost us over £22 for this with 2 coffees. There was one poor member of staff running around trying to clear tables and deliver food (he was brilliant ) The couple on the table next to us asked to speak to the manager as after 1/2 hour she was still waiting for a tea cake and coffee. I also made a complaint and the manager said “I’m sort staffed” she became quite defensive when I suggested she should tell senior management. The whole experience was awful and wish I knew where to request a refund. Didn’t dare ask there. If I could give minus stars I would.
