  I visited the store recently when passing through, it was Saturday last week, around 4pm, i was completely exhausted and dreading a long drive ahead of me, but im so glad i popped in here I was served by a lovely lad, who appeared to be about my age and wore a chain, he was SO lovely, i must've seemed in a bad mood as he was so friendly and polite, despite it seeming busy before i got to the till, we ended up having a good laugh and he really lifted my spirits, he even complimented my choice in snacks 😅 It's quite rare to find retail staff who are genuinely lovely, despite the stresses that retail bring, he genuinely broke the dread i was feeling and i left feeling so positive afterwards, i hope management can figure out who he was as he is such a great member of staff Thank you so much for the relieving experience a coop can bring!

  I visited the store today, 24 May 2026, at around 21:52. I bought a few items and forgot to scan my Clubcard before payment. When I asked if it could still be scanned, the young male staff member said the payment had already been submitted. I politely asked if the transaction could be cancelled and done again, but he seemed hesitant and dismissive way. His facial expressions and attitude made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome as a customer. I understand staff can be busy, but a more polite and helpful response would have made the experience much better.

  Out of date products sold for a high price ! Just bought doughnuts, and they were almost like a stone ! Unsafe store in terms of health and safety requirements !
