I witnessed a manager named Raj treating an employee extremely poorly, including behaviour that came across as racist and completely unacceptable. As someone who shares the same background as the employee, I found it especially upsetting to witness. No employee should be spoken to or treated that way, regardless of their role. What made the situation even more frustrating was seeing staff being shouted at while the store itself was in a poor state. The shop was dirty and had an unpleasant smell, which raises serious questions about the standards being maintained by management.I genuinely feel sorry for the employees who have to work in this environment. Based on what I witnessed, I will not be returning to this store. I hope Tesco takes complaints about staff treatment and store standards seriously and looks into what is happening here.
