Doesn’t accept foreign mobile numbers and a very clunky process, regardless, with poor search parameters. I added a relative’s mobile number (with permission) and it was relayed to me that they received a call 20 minutes before the end of the “click and collect” booked time slot that zero time extension on collection was possible due to staff training and that, if running late, no collection could be made for 6 hours! We had commenced our trip to collect and we were running a few minutes late (we are renting a property 25 minutes drive away) so this caused enormous stress given that we were cooking for a major dinner party that evening. I called Tesco customer service line and spoke to Kevin (?) who was excellent and contacted the Chelmsford store to sort the issue out. Five stars to Kevin, but the stress experienced for an order in excess of £200 was unacceptable.
