Is this a Spar or isn’t it?! The shop signage on the outside suggests that it is, however the shop seems to be able to pick and choose when it wants to be part of Spar and when it opts out; i.e., when it wants to or doesn’t want to take part in the Spar promotions in order to save money. The staff pretended that they were trying to get the codes to work on their system, even taking my mobile out of my hand without asking in order to scan my winning codes in the till, however the Manager Sharon told me afterwards that they had opted out of the summer 24 promotion. The competition that Spar promotes does not state that any Spar shops can opt out - what a scam. I will not be visiting any Spar shop again as they (customer relations) were not interested in my complaint or take any responsibility for the lack of inclusion of all stores under the Spar banner, having gone to the only store in the area, to then find I have wasted my time and petrol and then feeling humiliated too.
Apparently you have to add a star in order to post this review, but I would not choose to add a star - this needs addressing!
