  I ordered Big Macs and the meat was missing… also got a sprite and it had a brown tint to it, their food is always so underwhelming. Don’t order from here .

  Sun 12th July 26. Ordered food over an hour ago from Northlands Pavement, Pitsea restaurant. Courier arrived after being summoned by restaurant an hour over time, and restaurant advised the courier they hadn't actually bothered to cook my order! Courier asked them why didn't they just tell me (the customer) and not book the delivery; to which there was no satisfactory answer other than 'because it's an app order and they can't cancel it and inform the parties'. I called the restaurant and they gave me an excuse about not cooking the food until the courier is booked. But they then back tracked on that. The restaurant was already over an hour late when booking the delivery and by then they KNEW breakfast service had ended. I was told to seek a refund via the app as the branch can't do refunds. The AI literally went on a continuous loop three times preventing me from completing the refund and refused transfer to an agent, before I called the restaurant to get a phone number - which is (had to remove as Google blocked my review! Call restaurant for number). Be sure to select option 1 for disability access to get through as the message says they don't take calls from customers!! Managed to get a refund request lodged with a bored human to occur in 15 DAYS!!! Courier's time and petrol have been wasted as well as my time - and we have no food. Why on earth did the restaurant book a courier when they had quietly decided not to honour the order in house prior to??? The courier costs aren't being reimbursed by this shoddy, multi-billion pound corporation. It is shameless and cruel to waste the courier's resouces. Shockingly unprofessional, thoughtless and selfish service. Please folks, don't use Mcdonalds delivery. Oh, and I was told that any coupons I used could possibly be reinstated but only if I go online to go through the wretched AI to complain! Shameless, fat-cat operation with franchisees having no power to give the bare minimum customer service when things go wrong. I will not use this venue or delivery again. Message to Uber - please kick their backsides so the courier doesn't lose out. The restaurant should pay the delivery fee regardless as they summoned the courier when they knew there was no order to deliver.

  Ordered 4 meals and some nuggets. Was delivered 4 fries only, every single burger was missing. How hard can it be to put food in a bag? Not the first time items were missing, but this was ridiculous.

  Absolutely disappointing service. Even though the Happy Meal was ordered without a burger by mistake, nobody bothered to check or confirm such an unusual order. They just sent empty boxes with ketchup spilled over the packaging. Poor quality control and no care for customer experience at all.
