At Churchill’s we pride ourselves on the quality of our food and work closely with trusted suppliers to only bring the highest quality to our shops.
The British Potatoes we use are always the highest quality available to us, we do not compromise on quality when it comes to our chips. Our delicious chips are freshly prepared and cut in store every day, ready to serve our customers with the finest chips.
We only serve sustainably sourced Icelandic Cod and Haddock. We are the only UK operator to be awarded the Icelandic Responsible Fisheries Seal. The fish is carefully and expertly cut and prepared in house by our store managers. No corners are cut when it comes to quality.

Would be very helpful to at least put an up to date menu on for potential customers. However also after reading the latest reviews it seems that a once great chippy has gone down the drain. Used to be a queue outside the door too!

Looked small but was in a hurry and didn't have time to wait for more. Once home and unpacked the boxes,first fish was 7inches long no thicker than half inch thick dry and not a flake in sight. Second was slightly thicker but was very dry. Batter was ok not usual standard. Chip portion was no bigger than the normal standard amount. Again were not fresh. I paid £21 for them and felt this was an extortionate cost for what we were given. Sadly it seems the service in this particular branch is going down.and will think twice about whether to return. Prices have gone up quality has gone down.

The batter was old and firm, but not crispy, and the fish was dry. The chips were barely cooked and anaemic. It was quite expensive too, I feel like I’ve been ripped off big time. So disappointed.
