Atmosphere was cold. I get that there is AC but sometimes it could be turned up a little.

I visited Burger King Pocklington after my wife suggested we treat ourselves to a takeaway. Ordering was quick and straightforward, and there was virtually no queue, so we expected our food to be freshly prepared. Our order consisted of one of the new three-burger boxes, two large Whopper meals, another burger, and four portions of onion rings. The journey home took no more than 10 minutes with no heavy traffic. Unfortunately, when we opened the bags, the food was stone cold. For a business that specialises in fast food, this simply isn’t what customers should expect. The whole concept of fast food is that it’s served quickly, freshly prepared and, most importantly, hot. If food has cooled to the point where it’s no longer enjoyable after only a 10-minute journey home, something has clearly gone wrong. When you’re spending around £25 on what are marketed as value meal deals, customers have every right to expect: * Burgers that are hot and freshly cooked. * Fries and onion rings that are crisp rather than cold. * Food that remains at an enjoyable temperature during a short trip home. * Consistent quality that reflects the premium prices being charged. Sadly, our meal didn’t meet those expectations. Considering today’s prices, I don’t think it represented good value for money. That said, I will give credit where it’s due. In my opinion, Burger King still makes a better-tasting burger than McDonald’s. The flame-grilled flavour is far superior, and when it’s served properly, I genuinely prefer it. However, has anyone else noticed that the burger patties seem much thinner than they used to be? Prices certainly haven’t gone down, yet the portions feel smaller. Like many customers, it leaves me wondering whether this is another example of “shrinkflation”—paying the same, or even more, for less food. Overall, I left disappointed. I wanted to enjoy the meal, but cold food and shrinking portions make it difficult to justify the cost. For the prices Burger King now charges, customers should reasonably expect food that arrives hot, fresh and represents good value for their money. For the record Burger King get your app to work ?
