  Lovely beach that stretches for miles both ways. Lovely wind for kite flying, enough of a bank to shelter from the wind. Be careful for erosion on the access paths as some of the path has fallen. Took an unfortunate amount of fishing line home with us including some huge sea fishing hooks that we found in some seaweed where some Children were playing. Lovely beach though

  We've been visiting Batmston beach many times over the last 35 years or so , before we had children , with children and then with grandchildren and its always a great place to spend a few hours. The coastline has eroded a hell of a lot. However it is still a lovely beach and a great spot to collect shells and stones 😀 Plus you can grab a drink & food at the holiday park. Enjoy.

  Nice beach, good for access to the sea, for dog walking and for general beach activities. Wind was strong when we were there, not sure if that is usual for the spot. Decent parking but not unlimited.

  You cannot actually get onto the beach at Barmston or Skipsea due to cliff collapse.
