  Lovely restaurant service was warm and friendly. Food arrived promptly and was delicious my son loved the skin on fries. Would definitely visit again if in the area

  Website stated open, however when got there closed. Waited 30mins till opened at 5pm (please amend your website) Greeted with sturn face woman no welcome. Just "have you booked" to which we said "no" doesn't state you have to . The place was 96% empty, plenty of seats (only 2 of us) . Was eventually shown to a bench seat n table . "You can sit here" "order drinks at the bar" n walked off. To say how annoyed at lack of courtesy, manners, and customer service is understatement. Only went there as thought would be nicer than surrounding eateries. Nope.. unwelcoming Service does not warrant me staying or paying for anything. Would I return nope, would I recommend nope. Obviously don't do drop ins, don't open all day and don't need our custom.

  It’s a very lovely and peaceful place. I had a beer and one of their desserts, which was personally prepared by the waitress. I was served by Mary, who was professional and very kind. I’ll probably be back soon for another dessert

  Virtually every table was covered in dirty plates and food we had to walk round the entire restaurant to find a clean table. No continental breakfast food out apart from bread, no milk, no cutlery. When the shift manager was approached she kept walking away. When eventually managed to speak to her she didn't see a problem, was full of attitude and said you just had to ask for top ups! There was nothing there to be topped up in the first place! In the end with no food we got a refund and went to a lovely cafe on the promenade with lovely polite staff who couldn't do more for you!

  Avoid this place at all costs. The service and food quality were utterly disgraceful from start to finish. ​The food served to us was undercooked and clearly low-quality frozen fare—tasted like frozen fish straight out of a cheap box and frozen chicken. To make matters worse, the tables were dirty, sticky, and completely grotty. ​The staff were miserable, unhelpful, and spent the entire time complaining aloud about being understaffed. We even overheard a staff member tell another customer that there would be no Sunday roast because the manager refuses to hire a chef to cook it! ​An absolute shocking way to run a business. Save your money and go somewhere else.
