  Visited with an old friend last week, our first under the new management/since the refurbishment, and it was great. Our meals (fresh fish & chips, cottage pie and sausage & mash - with cheesecake for dessert) were home cooked, well presented, delicious - great value! - and the service was jovial and attentive. We really like this pub. It's full of character, with individual rooms as well as loads of covered outdoor seating, and a great selection of beers and wines. It's only about 500 yards from the centre of Beverley, but there's parking too. Looking forward to going again soon.

  Lovely service, but it was very quiet. Can't comment on service in peak times but the staff were very friendly on my visit. Lovely place, nice decor & menu. The burgers we ordered were slightly underwhelming, smallest burger I've been served so far but it was tasty and I do recommend other visit this pub. I will be going back 100%, I'd like to try the homemade pie next. The owners have done a great job with the place. Please go visit.

  It has recently been taken over and reopened, compared to our first visit 2-3 weeks ago - there was a huge difference in the quality of the food and its presentation this Sunday (as in a good change) compared to the last roast we had - not sure what had changed (? supplier) but whatever it was it was very noticeable. We were a large table of 13 this week, we had a mix of Sunday lunches and Phil & Sue’s famous fish and chips - everyone was very satisfied and the food was lovely. Atmosphere was great, attentive and friendly service. Overall a lovely afternoon and we will be back. Thanks all at The Tiger Inn.

  3 of us have been for a meal tonight. Scampi was was fine my steak pie only had 2 pieces of meat in and mushy peas far too sweet for my taste. My friend had steak pie hers was good. Very disappointed but will try again but not the pie.
