Get there early morning or late afternoon and parking is easy. Staff are really friendly and they now have "Ask me for help" people, which is good if you're nipping in for something you don't usually buy.

Absolutely disaster during refurbishment- Tesco should not be trying to stay open whilst a complete renovation seems to be happening. Total chaos: low stock, nowhere to park, isles being moved and no logic whatsoever to where things are being put. You should have closed for a few weeks eather than alienate your customers for the long term. You've lost a loyal customer of 20+ year - I will not be back!

The Beverley branch of Tesco is conveniently located in the town centre, just a short walk from the market place and pedestrian zone. It's free car park is usually busy and it's often difficult to get a parking place without driving around a bit. The store is a typical Tesco with a wide range of popular items and own brand equivalents as well as clothing and gift items.

Would have put 5 stars as the Staff are very kind and professional. But I am not a fan of the new layout. You can always tell when there's been a change in management as they seem to follow the rule of "Let's fix what isn't broken". The layout was absolutely fine before the change and easy to get what you need. Now it would be faster finding the needle in the haystack.
