  Great staff and store but I cannot believe they have put in even more Self Checkouts I find they are so inconvenient to use with a disability, loss of staff required in these expensive living times, lack of contact with helpful staff. Bring back more staff counters, so much better for the majority of people in this area due to ability or age or just the fact it's someone to say hello to!!!!!!

  Excellent Customer Service today at Barrhead Store. I dropped my phone down the side of the freezer. When I went to find staff 2 members of staff came to my assistance. Ended up clearing the freezer to access the base of the freezer, and had to go and get a screwdriver to access the base plate, got it down the front of the grill. I’m can’t thank all 3 members of staff enough I didn’t get all there names but Kara was the young lady who retrieved my phone. Much appreciated

  On arrival at Tesco Barrhead this morning I noticed a sign informing customers of an electrical outage on the store refrigeration sections ! As the fruit & vegetable isle was partially opened, I placed some pre packed vegetables, with long use by dates in my trolley and on doing so was informed by a Team Member I was unable to purchase this perfectly good vegetable produce, as it was to be destroyed..! I was horrified to note the volume of produce on their refrigerated shelves which was destined for land fill. Surely, this perfectly good produce could have been given a ‘Yellow Label’ or indeed given to pensioners instead of eating perfectly good food ! I promptly replaced my items back on the shelves and took my weekly shopping to Asda, which I noted was a great deal less expensive than Tesco for similar produce ! Tesco management really need to catch themselves on, as this level of food waste is totally unacceptable and I certainly will think twice about shopping in this extravagant wasteful store in future 😡
