Overall very good table service was excellent and we were well looked after with allergy advice, meals to be made vegan all catered for and explained. The only downside was some of the food wasn’t great. Most dishes were very good but a couple were disappointing in the way they had been prepared being a little unpleasant to consume. Of the 10 food or drink items we ordered 8 were excellent quality, 2 were quite poor.

Gosia (our waitress for the night) was AMAZING at Rushden Lakes for us this evening. Always very friendly, approachable and interacted with us all amazingly. Such a lovely lady and would love to come back again. Helped us throughout all of our orders and accommodated our needs amazingly!!!
We ordered chilli calamari, chorizo carbonara (“no green stuff”), Caesar Salad (no croutons) and Carne Sofia. All the food was great quality for a fair price

Great food and the place looks very nice and clean. However not all the staff was not pleasant or friendly at all. The guy that served us was rude and impatient which made our first experience very uncomfortable and stressful. That was a shame!

Everything was amazing especially i managed to enjoy a nice meal in this economic crisis everything being so expensive, I managed to have an amazing meal thanks to my Italian passport and the World Cup offer. The atmosphere was amazing too..thank you Zizzi to look after Italians in this World Cup moment!!

We came to Zizzi today for a meal and honestly, Sam made it.
From the moment we sat down she was just warm. Not in a professional, this is my job kind of way. Just genuinely warm.
What made that even more impressive was that the restaurant was busy. Sam was clearly managing a full section and a lot of demands. Not once did that show in the service she gave us. The quality, the attention, the care, none of it dropped. That says a lot about her.
She knew the menu, she kept an eye on us, checked our food and drinks were right, all of that. But that is not why I am writing this.
My son has additional needs. New places and new people can be really hard for him. Sam did not know that. We did not tell her. She just noticed him, made eye contact, spoke to him directly, got him some crayons. She gave him time and space without making a thing of it.
By the end of the meal he was telling her he had eaten it all. If you are a parent in a similar situation you will understand exactly what that means.
We will be coming back and it is because of her.
