Completely incompetent. The bald guy with glasses can't price up reduced strawberries without dropping on the dirty floor them but still pick them up up by dirty hands and put them on the self.

I’ve had the misfortune of visiting this shop on a weekly basis for well over a year now, held hostage by the undeniable power of convenience.
The manager is, without question, the grumpiest person I’ve ever encountered. Ask him a simple question and he looks at you as though you’ve just placed an ancient curse on his firstborn. In all my visits, I don’t think I’ve heard anything leave his mouth that wasn’t a sigh, groan, or complaint.
Whoever is responsible for ordering stock appears to have a very loose grasp of the concept of supply and demand. At any given moment, roughly 30% of the shelves are empty, and somehow it’s always the exact same items that disappear week after week.
On two separate occasions, my partner has asked whether they could check out the back for an item. The manager confidently declared they were completely out of stock. After being asked a second time, however, he emerged moments later carrying an entire crate of the very thing he’d just insisted didn’t exist. Apparently the stockroom doubles as a witness protection programme for groceries.
The alcohol is kept behind locked doors, which is perfectly reasonable. The issue is that pressing the bell seems to trigger an internal debate among staff about whether helping customers is really necessary. It’s not uncommon to stand there for several minutes while they continue chatting amongst themselves or serve multiple people at the tills when the bell rang before those customers had even joined the queue.
The only saving grace is a young woman with glasses and medium length brown hair, whose name I unfortunately don’t know. She appears to be the only member of staff capable of applying critical thinking and providing actual customer service
