    Been to subway loads of times but this is the best I've visited to date. Greeted with a friendly warm welcome nothing was a problem and food was delicious look forward to visiting again soon .

    I had a truly worrying experience at this Subway (Westpark, Wellington). My husband took one bite of his sandwich and immediately experienced a burning sensation and a strong bleach-like taste up his nose. He had to spit it out and rinse his mouth — clearly some kind of surface cleaner or chemical residue made it into the food. This raises serious concerns about hygiene and cross-contamination in the store. Unfortunately, this isn’t an isolated issue. As someone with a gluten allergy, I’ve also been made to feel like an inconvenience by some of the older staff — one even said, “We have to keep changing gloves” in a tone that made me feel awful for asking. That kind of attitude is completely inappropriate when it comes to food allergies. The younger girls working there have always been polite and helpful, but the overall approach to food safety here desperately needs attention. There’s clearly a lack of proper training around both allergens and chemical handling. This could easily result in serious injury if left unaddressed. Until this is taken seriously and changes are made, I won’t be returning.

    What a delightful young lady, by the name of Sophie who served me this evening at the Subway near Wellington. Her attention to detail was exquisite, her smile lit up the branch and she even offered to help carry my order to a table. Service above and beyond the Call of Duty
