I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at the Subway in Hyde. I clearly asked for no sauce on my sandwich — I even repeated it to make sure there was no confusion — and somehow it still came loaded with mayo. I don’t understand how something that simple can be ignored, especially when it’s such a basic customization request.
When you order food, especially somewhere like Subway where the whole concept is customizing your sandwich exactly how you want it, you expect them to listen. Mayo completely changes the taste and texture, and not everyone likes it. Some people avoid it for dietary reasons, allergies, or personal preference. It’s not a small detail — it matters.
By the time I realized the mistake, I had already left. The sandwich was basically ruined. Scraping it off doesn’t fix it because the bread soaks it in. It felt like my order wasn’t taken seriously at all.
This isn’t the first time I’ve had an issue here either — attention to detail seems to be lacking. Staff need to slow down and actually listen to customers instead of rushing through orders. It’s frustrating to pay for something and not get what you asked for.
I won’t be returning anytime soon, and I wouldn’t recommend this location if you expect your order to be made correctly.

Last night an absolute prick kicked off over mayonnaise and the way the guy serving, handled himself with dignity was great and plus very polite and helpful
