    Went in after 12am and was told they only sell footlongs at that time — no six-inch subs available. There's no signage on the door, the menu, or at the counter to warn you, so you queue up, decide what you want, and then get told you can't have it. Clear upselling or rather, refusal to sell the cheaper option. Looking at other recent reviews, this is clearly a pattern rather than a one-off. Six-inch subs are advertised on the menu at the standard price but refused after what seems to be midnight, which is misleading at best. If the branch wants to push footlongs, fine — but put up a sign so customers aren't wasting their time. Left without ordering. Won't be back.

    If -10 would be an option, I would rate them in minus. I ordered thru app and when I went to pick up the order, the employee behaved so rudely even if their system have a glitch and it automatically accepts the orders, when I asked to remove it from the system so that I can get my refund, they said it would be removed automatically. But it is not and I have not received refund and my offer which I used also gone. I have rang them at least 15 times but no one answered.

    You would think a Subway on the St Albans High Street would be actually half decent, but this one has been the worst one I’ve ever been to. The front door was smashed in, which was the first red flag. There was no space to queue and no place to sit when we were ready to eat. They intentionally put the smallest portions on the sub, and pretended we wouldn’t care. Then absolutely smashed them when wrapped, as though they were run over by a truck. Then when I asked to get a discount on my order because I have the app, I was told it wasn’t accepted, but they did accept my scan, which makes no sense. Plus the prices were £1 more than when I went to one a week ago in the next town over, and when I tried to speak up the cashier raised his voice at me. This is completely unacceptable and I will not be stopping by any subways for some time. Either shut this place completely or send in a half competent manager because this place was awful.

    I asked for mayo on my sub and the worker put the wrong sauce, I then pointed out that he put the wrong sauce and proceeded to me that I was wrong and he didn’t mess up, I clearly saw him turn to a co worker and show that he picked up the wrong bottle, instead of admitting his mistake he still insisted that was lying, only for me to pay for my food and later find out he did put the wrong sauce in the sub, very rude workers would not recommend

    Colleague working in the store put the wrong sauce in my subway, after I told him he had put the wrong sauce in, he told me he hadn’t. I told him I saw him put the wrong sauce in to which he lied and refused to change it, insisting it was mayonnaise (which I asked for). I took his word even though I was adamant I had seen him put garlic mayonnaise in. Later to find I was correct and he had put the wrong sauce in.
