    Subway sandwiches are genuinely delightful. Fresh bread, endless fillings, and the rare joy of pretending you’re being healthy because there’s lettuce involved. Every bite whispers, “You made a good life choice today.” However… the price. Blimey. Ordering two footlongs and a couple of drinks now requires a full financial consultation. I half expected the staff to slide over a mortgage application instead of a receipt. “Would you like extra cheese?” — yes, but only if I can pay it off over 25 years at a fixed rate. Don’t get me wrong, the food is excellent and I will absolutely be back. I’ll just need to sell a kidney, remortgage the house, and maybe take out a small loan beforehand. Delicious sandwiches. Financial devastation. Worth it… probably.

    Often there is only one person serving, so there tends to be a queue. Otherwise a fairly typical Subway.
