    Quick service from the lady at the counter, she was efficient and attentive even while busy. However, another staff member, a gentleman, was focused on paperwork while customers queued. He could have assisted briefly and returned to the paperwork later. As a result, I ended up waiting longer than necessary.

    Opening time is 8 but I was waiting till 8:10 and went back . They weren’t open . No notice board for opening late. Very very disappointed. Called restaurant many times as well but no answer. Knocked on door but no answer. No respect for customers. What a shame

    I am writing to submit a formal complaint regarding an unacceptable and unprofessional incident that occurred at your Wilmslow Road branch in Manchester, which falls well below the customer service standards expected from a brand such as Subway. We are regular customers of this particular branch and visit it consistently on a weekly basis to have our breakfast and dine in. During our most recent visit, we requested to use the restroom to wash our hands. We were informed by a member of staff that the restroom was “not available.” However, shortly afterwards, we clearly saw the same staff member exiting the restroom. When we questioned this, we were told that the restroom is “for staff only.” We would like to formally highlight the following concerns: • There is no visible signage in the restaurant indicating that the restroom is restricted to staff only. • Denying customers access to restroom facilities, especially for handwashing, is contrary to basic hygiene and public health standards, particularly in a dine-in food establishment. • It is unreasonable and unacceptable to expect customers to eat inside the restaurant without allowing them access to water and restroom facilities. • The manner in which this situation was handled was rude and dismissive, leaving us feeling disrespected despite being loyal, regular customers. This experience caused us significant discomfort and disappointment, and it negatively affected our perception of this branch. Incidents of this nature risk driving loyal customers away, which is unfortunate given how frequently we visit this location. We respectfully request that this matter be investigated, that the restroom usage policy at this branch be clarified, and that appropriate action be taken to ensure staff treat customers with professionalism, respect, and courtesy at all times. We would appreciate a response at your earliest convenience.
