OK, so this is within a hospital. People are sick, people are visiting loved ones who are very sick. It can be extremely stressful. So you go to grab a subway for quickness and are met with the most argumentative, rude and sarcastic staff I've ever had the misfortune to meet.
My son wanted a sandwich or roll. So I went in there and they do a kids lunchbox. They gormless guy behind the counter asks if I wanted extra cheese. The silly staff member next to him shouts at him to take half the cheese out he's already placed in the roll, because it was too much. There was half a slice of processed cheese in the roll! It didn't even cover the actual base of the roll.
He said, if I wanted a full slice of cheese, I'd have to pay extra.......are they actually for real?. The roll had barely anything in it. The staff were just so obnoxious, to the point I believe some serious customer care training would be very much recommended. In fact, they don't deserve their jobs when they're as rude as that.
My jaw hit the floor when I looked at the poor excuse of a roll and the fact I had to pay extra to even cover the base of the roll with cheese. I didnt want anything else in it!.
I politely told them that this was an absolute joke. Especially considering the setting. I told them to leave my order, to which he replied that he'd 'started making it'.
Well, remove the pathetic half a slice of cheese, put the dry roll back in your fridge and maybe learn to liaise with people a little better.
Never again!.
