    I’ve been a loyal customer of Subway for many years, and I truly love the brand. I visit at least five days a week, often from different branches, since I work part-time as a delivery driver and full-time as a chef. Because of this, I understand how important good customer service is. Most of the staff are fantastic, especially one guy who always wears a cap—he’s great every time. But today, at the Wood Green branch (next to Tesco Express), something went wrong. After more than 15 visits, one staff member, who wasn’t wearing a cap, wrongly accused me of misusing loyalty points and offers. I know how the app works, and as a frequent customer, these offers naturally build up. Yesterday, I used a 30% discount, and today I used points—just as the app allows. I’m a professional in this industry, so I know how this works, but they refused to check or listen. I’m truly disappointed—this is the first bad review I’ve ever given. I was having a great day, but this ruined my mood. I will still be a loyal Subway customer, but I will never return to this branch, even though it’s just five minutes from my home. Please, Subway, train your staff better in front-of-house, so loyal customers aren’t treated this way.”

    Staff are rude to customers and give them the wrong order. They don’t apologise for giving you the wrong order but they expect you to apologise for not looking while they make your sandwich

    I was really disappointed with my experience. I ordered a Subway salad and it was honestly terrible. There was no care or effort put into it at all — it was mostly just lettuce, with barely any cheese, pickles, sweetcorn, or olives. There were only a few pieces of meat thrown on top and barely any sauce. It felt rushed and careless, like no one actually cared about the order. To make things worse, they completely forgot the guacamole. I then had to walk 20 minutes back to the store to get it remade, which understandably made me even more frustrated. When I got there, the same guy who served me had really poor customer service. There was no apology, no empathy, and no compensation for the inconvenience. Instead, he made comments like “well this is why you order in store” — which was rude and unnecessary, especially since the mistake was theirs. Overall, awful service, poor quality food, and no accountability. Definitely won’t be returning unless things seriously improve.
