If I could put two more stars I would.. The service is amazing. The staff well trained and very well behaved. The food as always amazing. Special thanks to Steve, probably the manager who was everywhere dealing with everything, showing the high standards of his position and engaging with customers in the best way... Also well dine to Joanna. While I was waiting for my order, I was watching the way she was interacting with customers. So smart, with to the point comments and questions to creat a succesfull rapport with the customers and make them feel welcome.
Overall, amazing place, amazing people...
Finally in London! A Successful First Visit to Chick-fil-A
I had been eager to visit the newly opened Chick-fil-A in London, but the notoriously long queues during the grand opening kept me away. Now that it has been open for about two months, the initial rush seems to have subsided. I visited on a weekday lunchtime and was pleased to be seated immediately with no waiting time at all.
Being a first-timer, I opted for the standard choice and ordered the No. 2 Chick-fil-A Deluxe Sandwich Meal, accompanied by their signature Chick-fil-A sauce. The waffle fries were a standout highlight for me; their unique shape and crispy texture were much preferred over standard fries. The chicken sandwich itself lived up to its reputation—the chicken was remarkably tender and well-fried. I am thrilled to finally have Chick-fil-A in the UK and will certainly be a returning customer whenever a craving hits.
The venue is spread across two levels (the ground floor and the first floor). As a recently opened location, the interior is exceptionally clean, spacious, and provides a very pleasant dining environment. My only critique is the service speed; the food took a bit longer to arrive than expected. Given it is a fast-food establishment, I anticipated a quicker turnaround, but the quality of the meal ultimately made up for the slight delay.
Ordered:
Spicy Deluxe Chicken Sandwich meal x3
12pc Nuggets
Food is very high quality and fresh. The only reason this wasn’t 5/5, was because of the very slow service. From order to receiving food it took 18 minutes, and the restaurant wasn’t overly busy. Other customers were waiting similar lengths of time.
Something needs to improve to significantly reduce waiting times, as compared to other fast food restaurants, this was probably the slowest I have experienced.
Counter staff and table clearing staff (especially Mischa) were excellent and very customer-service orientated. All staff were very polite and attentive.
I came May 14th at 2pm. Sat upstairs. The upstairs sitting is SIGNIFICANTLY cleaner than the downstairs sitting.
A young tall gentleman kept it SO clean, as I was eating I could not help but notice that he would not stop cleaning (sweeping the floors, wiping the tables even though outwardly it was clean enough).
That is how much he cares about his job, and especially at such a young age (teens or early 20s).
I had to leave a comment. He made such a great impression of the overall experience because of how clean and well taken care it was. The first floor was a mess though (which obviously somebody else was jn charge of the first floor cleaning)

I first had Chick-fil-A more than 15 years ago in Las Vegas, and it left a surprisingly strong memory: excellent fried chicken, genuinely lovely staff, and a flavour that was hard to describe but very distinctive — almost like fried chicken crossed with something warm, wholesome and bakery-like. It had that slightly sweet, savoury, comforting quality that made it stand apart from the usual fast-food fried chicken.
Fast forward to Chick-fil-A Kingston, and I’m pleased to say the core flavour is still very much there. The chicken remains excellent: tender, well-seasoned, gently sweet, and with that unmistakable Chick-fil-A character. For me, among the big fast-food fried chicken chains, it is still probably the best-tasting chicken.
The only slight disappointment is that the nuggets felt smaller than I remembered. They still tasted delicious, but the smaller pieces slightly reduced that satisfying, wholesome mouthfeel I remember from the US. It made the experience feel a little less abundant, even though the flavour itself was still very consistent.
I also missed a couple of things from my old American memory: the thicker, bread-like side I vaguely associate with Chick-fil-A, and the lemon iced tea-style drink I remember enjoying. The current UK menu seems more streamlined, and perhaps adapted to local British demand.
Overall, though, this is a very strong arrival in Kingston. The taste has travelled remarkably well across time and continents. It may not fully recreate my nostalgic Las Vegas memory, but it comes surprisingly close — and the chicken itself remains superb.
